Bhavya Pandey
Predoctoral Research Fellow
Bhavya Pandey received a B.A. (Honours) in Economics from the University of Delhi and an M.A. in Computational Social Science-Economics from the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. Before joining Professor Alsan’s research team, Bhavya worked on research teams at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) South Asia, and the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at University of California, Berkeley. During her time at the University of Chicago, Bhavya served in teaching assistantship roles in courses related to microeconomics, macroeconomics, and experimental economics at the Department of Economics and the Booth School of Business, as well as researched under the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. Her research interests lie in the fields of applied microeconomics, development economics, and computational social science.
